TCL acquires Clean Estates Limited

TCL, the landscape services group, is pleased to announce that it has acquired the estate management business, Clean Estates Limited.

The acquisition represents further progress in the implementation of TCL's strategy to create a leading national landscape services and facilities management business and builds upon the acquisition of Admiral Play and Arbscapes, both undertaken over the last 18 months.

Clean Estates, based at Hulland Ward, Derbyshire provides a range of estate management, cleaning and landscape services to the commercial property sector and employs over 190 people throughout the UK. Clean Estates will remain independent and autonomous within TCL, the business continuing to be managed by the existing experienced management team.

The Board believes that following the acquisition of Clean Estates the enlarged TCL business will provide a stable platform from which to grow the business through both extended geographic coverage and by facilitating of existing products and services.

Commenting on the Clean Estates acquisition, Simon Cashmore, Group Managing Director of TCL, commented 'I am delighted to announce this acquisition, which represents a major step in expanding the business and broadening the range of services offered by the group. Clean Estates will fit into our business extremely well, having a consistent set of organisational values to that of TCL and a strong customer centric culture'.
